Life at Fluent

Reflections on Fluent Service Day

This spring, we held our largest annual Service Day to date, sending out 130 employees to 15 volunteer sites across 7 states.

Fluent employees engaged in a variety of service initiatives including soup kitchens, food drives, pet shelters, early education and elementary schools, after-school sports and arts programs, a beach cleanup, and an urban garden in Brooklyn. As a team, we dedicated nearly 400 person-hours to helping the community.  Across locations, we served over 1000 meals, cared for more than 100 animals, and spent time in classrooms mentoring dozens of students.

Fluent’s remote employees also participated in Service Day activities, dedicating half a day to give back to community initiatives in their local areas.  These included tornado disaster relief in Ohio, flood relief in Little Rock, Arkansas, a sports program in upstate NY, and a food bank in Washington DC.  Fluent’s Florida office also participated in a beach clean-up at nearby Deerfield Beach.

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of all those who helped to make Fluent Service Day 2019 a huge success. Whether we are collaborating in the workplace or volunteering at a soup kitchen, our core values at Fluent drive us to learn, connect, innovate, and succeed in our local communities and beyond.
