We are looking to bring on a creative, talented, and dynamic Director of Consumer Research to take our consumer research program to the next level. We are looking for someone who can generate compelling research reports and studies that provide novel and productive insights to brand marketing executives, while also drumming up significant “buzz” in the media and the industry at large. Based in our corporate headquarters in New York City, the successful candidate will also own Fluent’s research agenda and content calendar, and work closely with the Content Marketing Manager and Marketing Designer to produce a wide variety of content and collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Fluent’s consumer research agenda and calendar.
  • Personally author 1 - 2 long-form consumer research reports per month focusing on consumer perceptions and behaviors within key verticals of strategic importance to Fluent (CPG, retail, media & entertainment, financial services, nonprofit, etc.)
  • Craft shorter form, “snackable” content pieces such as infographics, slide presentations, bylines, blog posts, videos, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager on the build-out of vertical-focused research microsites, our blogging strategy and audience development, and ongoing email newsletter deployments.
  • Present at Fluent-sponsored and industry-related events, and deliver webinars. Establish a presence as an influential speaker and thinker, and participate in analyst and press briefings as necessary. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a pollster, research analyst, journalist, or content marketer, covering trends related to consumer marketing and ecommerce.
  • Superior analytical thinking and writing skills.
  • Extensive experience crafting clear and concise online survey questionnaires.
  • Expert in statistical weighting approaches to raw survey samples.
  • Passionate about data and research.
  • Able to prioritize projects effectively, juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines, and minimal supervision.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a fast paced marketing department.
  • Strategic and Tactical. Willing to do the “dirty work” when necessary and get things done.

We are looking for someone who can assist our team in the creation, programming and deployment of compelling online surveys, with an ability to apply rigorous statistical analysis and weighting to the findings.

Based in our corporate headquarters in New York City, the successful candidate will work closely with the CMO and Director of Consumer Research to execute the company’s research agenda and content calendar, and collaborate with other members of the marketing team to produce a wide variety of content and collateral.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Ad Operations Coordinator to work directly as the “right hand” to the Account Management team members, offering account support and is responsible for supporting the success of Fluent client accounts. In this role, you will learn how to establish relationships with clients, develop an understanding of client needs, coordinate campaign launches, track budgets, and monitor campaign activity.

You will be in charge of production, reporting and coordinating with other internal teams, such as Sales, Media and Technical Support Teams, to assist Account Managers with all projects. The ideal candidate will work with the teams to ensure delivery, goals and objectives put forth by the client are met.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and thoroughly understand Fluents’ business objectives including our array of product offerings, and being able to effectively apply it through internal and external interactions
  • Act as liaison between sales and account manager during the onboarding process of new clients
  • Support day-to-day client interactions and support Account Management
  • Track and monitor campaigns to ensure goals are being met

We are looking for an Affiliate Operations Associate to work directly as the “right hand” to the Media Team. The Affiliate Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting the explosive growth of our media network. Job duties include working with Affiliate Managers to understand client needs, pulling and analyzing cost / margin reports by client and source, and working directly with our clients to make sure we’re meeting their needs from a campaign performance perspective.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who is comfortable in an operational role. Additionally, the affiliate coordinator must be a “people person” with a passion for developing strong relationships with both internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Format and deliver publisher spend reports to the affiliate managers
  • Develop new offer testing recommendations based on understanding of client needs and our ROAS expectations
  • Present campaign results solutions directly to clients in order to increase revenue and retention
  • New business development support, including prospecting and media planning
  • Ability to operate autonomously with strong planning, scheduling and problem solving skills

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree
  • Client-side experience highly desirable
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing and the more common tracking platforms is essential
